Ojan Aryanfard was an independent scholar and lieutenant colonel in the Civil Air Patrol Van Dyke Squadron. He was interested in the rise of global terrorism and its impact post-9/11. His articles on national security and what he called “the global jihad” are still referenced in scholarly works. He passed away in 2009.
