Jason Berggren, Ph.D., is an associate professor of political science at Georgia Southwestern State University. His teaching focuses on American politics, including the U.S. presidency, the U.S. Congress and legislative process, U.S. political parties, and religion and American politics. He has published many journal and newspaper articles on Jimmy Carter and his presidency.
