Kristine L. Bowman, Ph.D., is the associate dean for academic and student affairs in the College of Education as well as a professor of law and a professor of education policy at Michigan State University. She has published more than 30 articles and book chapters, written or coedited four books and presented across the U.S. and in more than a dozen countries. She writes about liberty and equality across all levels of education with a focus on racial and ethnic equity and free speech.
