Kenneth F. Mott, Ph.D., was a political science professor at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. He graduated from the Albany Academy in 1957, received his bachelor’s of arts from Franklin & Marshall College in 1961, a master’s degree from Lehigh University in 1963, and a Ph.D. from Brown University in 1967. He helped to establish the Eisenhower Institute and the Public Policy Program at Gettysburg College. His scholarship focused on constitutional law and, in particular, the First Amendment. Mott retired in 2017 after 51 years at Gettysburg College and passed away in 2021.
