Alvin K. Benson retired as the geophysicist at Brigham Young University. He then helped start the physics degree program at Utah Valley State College. One of his most important research achievements was the development of a modified self-consistent quantum field theory. He published six books, over 100 journal articles, over 400 scientific essays for reference books and over 30 religious papers before he passed away.
