The Free Speech Center continues to expand its efforts to build support for First Amendment freedoms through education, information and engagement.
That includes major investments in the center’s website – with valued support from the Knight Foundation – and the First Amendment Encyclopedia. The site has grown dramatically over the past year, increasing by more than 1 million visitors to a new level of 5.2 million users a year.
The center also strives to inform Americans about First Amendment issues by acting as a resource for news media. The Free Speech Center was cited by more than 1,000 news outlets over the past 12 months alone.
