Michael P. Fix, Ph.D., is a professor and director of graduate studies in the department of political science at Georgia State University. He specializes in judicial politics, and his research focuses on the role of state high courts in the broader political and legal environment. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses on constitutional law, judicial process and research methods. He is the author of U.S. Supreme Court Doctrine in the State High Courts.
