John S. Baker Jr., Ph.D., is a professor emeritus of law and was the Dale E. Bennett Professor of Law at Louisiana State University Law School. He is a visiting professor at Peking University School of Transnational Law and Georgetown Law School. He argues in federal court, which has included two oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court. He teaches courses for the Federalist Society on separation of powers with Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
