Carol Walker-Russell is an administrative law judge with the Georgia Office of Administrative Hearings where she has handled disputes between the public and state agencies since August 2000. She received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Georgia State University and her juris doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law. Walker-Russell has an extensive legal career that includes: law clerk to a state court judge; Assistant Solicitor General and Chief Assistant Solicitor General; adjunct professor of litigation at Georgia State University, College of Law; mediator; owner and operator of Russell Law Office, a law firm concentrating in personal injury litigation, wills, corporations, criminal defense,and domestic matters; and Recorder’s Court (traffic) judge, DeKalb County. She has written two inspirational books: “Better Than That” (2022) and “Message from the Moon” (2020).
